What this site is for
This site describes our services. You cannot buy anything on it, and we do not take payment on it. Asking for a demo is free and does not commit you to anything.
When you become a client
Before any work starts, we send you a written quote, a services agreement and, where we will handle personal information for you, an operator agreement. Together they set out what we will build, the full price including any taxes, how and when you pay, the timelines, the support you get, how cancellation and refunds work, and for ongoing services, the minimum period.
You can download, save and print these documents. When you sign one online, we email you a copy of what you signed. Payment is by electronic transfer against our invoice.
Your right to cancel
If you are a consumer under ECTA, meaning a natural person who uses our services as the end user, you may cancel an agreement you conclude with us electronically, without reason and without penalty, within seven days of concluding it (ECTA section 44). Anything you have paid is refunded within 30 days of cancelling. This right does not apply to services that began with your consent before the seven days ended. To cancel, email hello@jjsystems.co.za.
Using this site
The information on this site is general and may change. It is not advice, and we do not promise that it is complete or always up to date. Links to client and other websites take you to sites we do not control. Please do not try to break, overload or copy the site or its code.
Who owns what
The text, design and code of this site belong to JJ Systems. Client names, logos and screenshots of client websites belong to those businesses.
Liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for loss that comes from using this site or relying on its content. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the Consumer Protection Act or another law does not allow us to limit. Our liability for work we do for clients is set out in the services agreement, not here.
Privacy and security
How we collect, use, protect and share personal information is set out in our privacy notice. How to request records we hold is in our PAIA manual.
Law and complaints
South African law governs these terms. If something goes wrong, please tell us first at hello@jjsystems.co.za so we can try to put it right.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version.
